It is in the Var, between Toulon and Hyères, that the Le Songe de Don Bosco estate is located, a few kilometers from the city center of La Crau. At the bend in a path with a rural decor, winding through the vineyards, smelling of heather, thyme and rosemary, at the end of an alley lined with olive trees, the Le Songe de Don Bosco estate is discovered. As far as the eye can see, an exceptional panorama of vineyards and nature. A landmark conducive to peace and serenity. Located at the foot of the Maures massif, the estate is loaded with a rich past! Property of the Navarre family before 1789, it was sold in 1830 to a certain de Perrache d'Ampus. In 1840, Mr Roujon acquired it and later donated it in 1868 to Abbot Vincent with the stipulation of making it an agricultural orphanage. Having little time to take care of it, in 1878, the bishop of Fréjus asked Don Bosco to take care of the establishment, this orphanage became a Salesian House. https://www.lesongededonbosco.com
