You will also notice the Petit Turluron chapel which sits proudly at the summit and which offers a 360° view of the surrounding landscape.

The Château du Grand Turluron is a medieval castle which stands on one of the two volcanic hills which dominate the town of Billom. The castle dates from the 11th century and was once part of the four counties of Auvergne. Today it is in ruins, but you can still admire its architecture and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area from the top.
