One of the many bridges over the canal. It's always nice for me to cross these or just take a break.

This bridge with the apt street name "Hoher Weg" is a very useful and comfortable crossing option 😊🚴♀️🚴♂️👍 the busy main railway line (East-West-Magistrale Berlin-Hanover-Dortmund/-Cologne). I use it regularly and happily on my bike tours and use it to bypass the notorious "Glück-auf-Barrier" (in case of doubt it is closed)🙈 at the nearby level crossing Eveser Straße / Nordholzer Straße.

Very nice section! If you really want to experience nature in peace here, you should switch to off-peak times or days outside of the weekend if possible. On nice weather weekends there is often a big tumult of cyclists and walkers.
