The Stadsschouwburg on Leidsplein dates from 1894. But the history of the Amsterdam theatre dates back much further, from 1638. The theatre burned completely to the ground, twice. It was rebuilt. After a thorough renovation, and the opening of a new state-of-the-art theatre hall in 2009, the Stadsschouwburg is ready to serve as a theatre for the future. https://ita.nl/en/about-ita/

We were in Zandvoort again on July 1, 2025. We were shocked at how crowded and littered the beach was. People were packed together at the beach café areas. You had to reserve tables at the beach cafés, and you were only allowed to sit for a maximum of 1.5 hours. I'd rather never go to Zandvoort in the summer again and only go during the off-season.

One round is about 4.5km distance. The park is joyful and good for non local runner as it is easy to find and run in the park.
