A visit to the Ittingen Charterhouse is always a feast for the senses. The diversity of this special place is impressive: historic buildings, meticulously maintained gardens, cultural offerings, and a palpable tranquility that instantly slows you down. I particularly love the on-site shop, which delights with unique, handcrafted products. You can feel the attention to detail, and it's easy to take a piece of Ittingen home with you. The Mühle Restaurant absolutely won me over. The large waterwheel inside is a true highlight and left a lasting impression – it's rare to find so much charm and history in one place. For me, the Ittingen Charterhouse is a place I always enjoy returning to. Highly recommended!

The natural paradise may be small - encroached upon by agricultural land claims - but it is still very beautiful! Natural river banks, small woods and lots of birds.
