The former abbey church of Saint Volusien is a single-nave building from the 12th and 13th centuries. It was severely damaged during the Huguenot Wars between 1562 and 1598 and subsequently rebuilt in the High Classical style.

A pleasant little watering hole with its heritage-listed washhouse provides shade and coolness during hot weather! A bench is available nearby if needed.

I am very disappointed, with all the places that there are in Ariège how can you propose a name mountain bike trail when there is only road including a place where cars drive at full speed. The landscape of lounbens is pleasant and that is the only positive point.
