The trail that loops around the Glisy ponds is very pleasant, alternating between dirt paths and passages on wooden slats. Don't forget that this is a quiet area reserved for fishermen!

Beautiful path along the Somme which allows you to enter or leave Amiens without crossing any cars! The landscape is absolutely beautiful, thank you to Philippe for showing me this part of the Amiens region.

Not far from here (1.2 km), on the outskirts of Bourdon, there is a large military cemetery for German soldiers who fell here on the Somme in heavy fighting (including the Battle of Abbeville in early June 1940).

Great spot for a break. If the lock house is also open, the best!

The Lamotte-Brebière locks are a series of locks that regulate the flow of water and allow boats to navigate the river. You can start your hike at the Maison Éclusière de Lamotte-Brebière, a former lock keeper's house transformed into a café and cultural center. You can taste local products, admire the works of art on display and take part in various activities and events.
