Our history dates back a long way. As early as the 18th century, a first customs house stood on the banks of the Reuss. From then on, this customs post supervised the transport of goods across the river bridge. The house was later devastated and rebuilt several times. What always remained was its name – the zollhuus. I love bridges! And this covered wooden bridge over the Reuss connects Hünenberg on the east side and Sins on the west side. From the 17th century, it connects the cantons of Zug and Aargau today. So many people pass through here even today. Very nice view from the bridge too. Rarely used on weekends and holidays.

The farm shop was opened in 2014 and is located on the Etterhof. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday the farm shop is open until 12:00 p.m., otherwise it is self-service. We sell seasonal vegetables and fruit from our own cultivation as well as various homemade or regional delicacies such as dairy products, syrup, jam, fruit brandies, etc. On Saturday there is a variety of breads, freshly baked braids and other baked goods The EsSBar is not far from the farm shop. There you can also buy fine products such as homemade vinegars, oils, dandelion honey, jams, schnapps, liqueurs, etc.
