Charming little mountain village located on the banks of the Neste. Its location is ideal for tackling several passes in the area, including the Col d'Aspin, Peyresourde and Portet, among others. You will find there accommodation possibilities and supplies.

Hourquette comes from "horca" Gascon derivative of the Latin "furca" for fork by the shape of the U-shaped pass. It is a beautiful and very quiet place to do with the portet, the aspin if you pass by there.
